Frequently Asked Questions

General -

What is mobile phlebotomy?
Mobile phlebotomy is a service where a certified phlebotomist comes to your home, office, or preferred location to draw blood for lab testing.

How does the process work?
Once you schedule an appointment, a trained phlebotomist will visit your location, collect the necessary specimens, and transport them to the appropriate laboratory for testing. Results will be sent to your ordering physician or directly to you, depending on the test.

Yes, most lab tests require a doctor’s order. However, we also offer direct-access testing for select lab panels where permitted.

How should I prepare for my blood draw?
Preparation varies by test, but some common guidelines include fasting for 8-12 hours before testing (if required) and drinking plenty of water to help with the blood draw.

About Me -

How long have you been a phlebotomist?
I started my phlebotomy journey in 2008 after getting certified and working through United Blood Services. Giving people comfort and safety in a vulnerable position is what I specialize in. It is important that my patients feel the upmost comfort during their visit with me and that is why I started B+ Mobile Phlebotomy.

Do you travel all over Arizona?
I do! From Glendale, to Goodyear, to Queen Creek and everywhere in between. I have made a few visits to Tucson and Flagstaff, when requested.

What do you do in your spare time?
I am a big movie buff and enjoy spending my free time watching new movies/taking care of the animals at the house! We have a small zoo, as we like to call it, with dogs, cats, and chickens at the moment.
